TAG Testing

A district TAG proctor will be coming to Atkinson to conduct testing for students who have been referred for nomination for a TAG identification by their teacher and family.  These are children for whom an IDPF form was filled out and returned by November 13th.

Testing will take place at Atkinson on Monday, December 11th and Tuesday, December 12th.

Students who miss the testing due to illness will have an opportunity for a make-up session. Information for these sessions will be provided by the TAG department after our school testing is complete.

TAG Games

The next date for TAG Games has been set!! 

TAG Games will be this Sunday, October 1 from 1-3 at Hot Lips on Hawthorne! 

This group is open to everyone. There is no obligation to buy anything. 

This gathering is held as consistently as possible on the first Sunday of each month at Hot Lips on Hawthorne from 1-3. Same place, same time, once a month. Mark your calendar for all of 2017!

Come for a late lunch, an early dinner, or just to play games! No purchase necessary! If you have kids who like board games (or card games like Magic the Gathering), come join us! 

Best for TAG kids ages 8-12, but all are welcome! There are quite a few younger siblings who regularly come as well.

This is not a drop-off event. You don't need to RSVP; just show up!

We’ll have a range of games to choose from, or bring your favorite game to share. Come to learn new games, teach others, or just play!

OMSI Family Night

Welcome to the 2017-2018 School Year! 

I am very excited to be Atkinson's TAG Facilitator this year. 

There is a wonderful opportunity for your family to enjoy Pompeii: The Exhibition at OMSI on Monday, September 11th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Update on TAG Testing

TAG testing results from the fall should be arriving by mail sometime around spring break.  Keep an eye out for a letter from the TAG department and let us know if you have any questions.

Upcoming LiD Meetings

If your child is signed up to participate in Learning in Depth, Mr. B will be having lunch meetings with the students to help them and keep them on track.

Lunch meetings will take place in the computer lab and take place on the following Tuesdays:

March 21

April 4

April 18

May 2

May 16

The later dates may be cancelled if they are not needed.

District TAG proctors will be coming out to conduct testing for students who have been identified for TAG testing by their teacher and family members.  These are children for whom an IDPF form was filled out during or just after fall conferences.

Testing will take place at Atkinson on Wednesday, January 25 and Thursday, January 26.

Please have your children well rested and fueled with a healthy breakfast.

Students who miss the testing due to illness will have an opportunity for a make-up session. Information for these sessions will be provided by the TAG department after our school testing is complete.
